“Women Empowering other women through preaching and teaching under the Anointing of God to live and leave a legacy for life.”
I AM MY SISTER’S KEEPER OATH
“I Am My Sister’s Keeper Ministry”
Mission: Finding areas of need in our church and community, and in a collaborative effort, service and through teaching, preaching and other community resources, effectively meeting the needs of those we serve.
Vision: To grow a women’s ministry that reaches out directly to other women in and around our church and community who are facing severe hardships of every kind and serving those who are at risk and in crisis. In collaboration with these community members finding the commonalities that tie into the concept and belief that I am my sister’s keeper and that our survival rests upon love and empowerment of one another. Building relationships that will bring women together and families back to church as we take the church to the community. Creating an ongoing domino effect of generational women self-empowerment, self- improvement, and discipleship.
“Many women have done noble things but you outshine them ALL!!!” ~Proverbs 31:29
I Am My Sister’s Keeper kick off breakfast was a great success! THANKS TO MY SISTERS who came out to see what the Ministry is all about. Thanks to those who thought about us and couldn’t make it, we know you were praying for us! Although my heart is heavy right now, you made the load easier to bare! I AM MY SISTER’S KEEPER!
“So are Christians to be the keepers of other Christians? Yes, in two ways. First, we are not to commit acts of violence against one another. This includes violence of the tongue in the form of gossip and “quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder” (1 Corinthians 12:20). Second, we are to exhibit brotherly love toward our brothers and sisters in Christ with a tender heart and a humble mind (1 Peter 3:8). In this way, we “keep” those for whom Christ gave His life.”

With the spirit of a watchman, Reverend Dr. William F. Pegues is an ordained minister of the Gospel. He is a Bible teacher, preacher, and Kingdom intercessor. Dr. Pegues earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in religion and Philosophy and a Master of Divinity degree from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, North Carolina. He completed the Clinical Pastoral Education program at Wake Forest Baptist University Medical Center. Reverend Pegues is a newly published Author of the book entitled; “Breaking Free from Unresolved Grief”. He is the founder and former pastor of Hoyt Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Burlington, North Carolina. He is also the founder of the Sowing the Seed Ministry, a year-long class where other disciples called to preach study and learn the process of sermon preparation and delivery.
With the assistance from many anointed leaders in the Body of Christ, he was saved in 1990 and grew in his relationship with the Lord. William was delivered from his own addictive behaviors and strongholds. This deliverance and intimate relationship is the basis for the passion he’s given to create a thirst for Him in others, whenever he preaches and throughout life. He has compassion, passion, and anointing to minister to broken vessels.
Dr. Pegues is married to the lovely Dorothy W. Pegues, also an ordained minister who works with him and supports his ministry wholeheartedly. To this union, they were blessed with two daughters, Kendra M. & Keosha C. Pegues, four grandchildren, Kamaurie McKenzie Woodley-Pegues, Jordan Jermaine Peguese, and Kennedi Leigh Pegues, and Kendrin O’Brian Pegues-Robbins. They are the godparents of a nephew, who lives in the Pegues household and are blessed to call him a son, Thomas Kordell Quick.
After going through many battles and experience deliverance and victory, Reverend Dr. Pegues seeks to live a life of integrity with the Father. A servant-leader, his desire is to usher in God’s presence where deliverance occurs, teach an eternal perspective on the Christian life and rise up spiritual warriors for the end times.
Now, therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. ~Exodus 19:5
